Airport

From earlier in the day:
In the airport, through security, waiting for our plane to leave. Everything up to now has been tremendously rewarding and the group has been positive for almost every experience The airport experience is a little less enjoyable, as various stressors of time and crowds and a bit of hunger put some on edge (while others seem to have embraced the "Cuban time” culture of going with the flow and knowing it would work out okay). We’re almost done with our last mango, and the pineapple is all gone, along with the guava paste pies. As much as many of us would love to stay longer, we are mostly ready to head home (and will likely miss Cuba soon after we return to Vermont). And as much as this trip is about learning about other cultures and people, much of the most powerful learning has been about ourselves and appreciating others in this group. We are hopeful the kid will have much to share when we return.

Now in Atlanta, through customs and finally getting food after kind of skipping over lunch. Pretty chill (and a bit chilly) waiting for flying home. After a week with zero internet, most seemed to catch up on their phones pretty quick, but, impressively, are back in person to person zone interacting with each other. See you soon!
